About the Author

I grew up along the Jersey Shore before eventually settling in a small rural town in New York’s Catskill Mountain range. As a teen, I was drawn to technology—particularly cybersecurity—and often found myself lost in computer-related tinkering while my friends were out on the town.

What began as a curiosity and challenge-driven fascination evolved into a full-time career. Ironically, the same analytical or obsessive mind that helped me in tech also pulled me deep into the spiral of health anxiety.

I’m not a doctor, but like many people, I spent countless hours online diagnosing symptoms and convincing myself of worst-case scenarios. After years of spiraling through imaginary illnesses and full-blown panic, I decided to channel that overactive thinking into something more useful: Hacking Hypochondria.

The book blends my personal stories with practical tools and strategies for managing health anxiety in an overwhelming digital world.

When I’m not obsessing over my latest health concern, you can usually find me skiing, hiking, playing guitar, and navigating the evolving technological world.
